NCDC 2008: Christina Tuccillo's Dragonfly [Sun 6/15/08]

Christina Tuccillo showing me the dragonfly which landed on her hand.

East side of the Pavillion (opposite the water) during a dance

Dragonfly left Christina's hand, but she doesn't seem to know where it's going yet... :-) It's just to the left of her chin.

NCDC 2008: Hula-hoop class [Sat 6/14/08]

Diane Hurst hooping in Rosie's class... If someone could help, I don't remember the name of the lady on the right.

NCDC 2008: Rosie's Night Hula-Hooping [Sat 6/14/08]

Rosie began dancing in a very crowded evening boogie.

Initially she was hooping vertically due to the tight space, but people started slowly making room for her 9-min hoop dance...

Outside the view of the camera, the room is packed with dancers!

NCDC 2008: Rosie's Hula-Hoop Solo [Sat 6/14/08]

Rosie taught a fantastic hoop class in the Dining hall Saturday afternoon.

She was wonderful at describing moves in detail for beginners, while at the same time showing advanced moves for anyone who asked.

Very understanding and friendly teacher! :-)

NCDC 2008: Lost & Found

Here's a Google Picasa album [30 photos] with the Lost & Found. I shot these pictures on Sun 6/15/08 12:04-12:40 pm, but people were still finding stuff as I was leaving.

I'm not sure who to contact yet about lost & found, but I will post updates here.

Andy Peri says the Lost & Found will probably be brought to the Friday Jam (but that I should confirm this), and be given away to Goodwill after a few weeks.

This tent stake (click here for bigger picture at Picasa) was probably from the tent next to mine & Owlswan's. I never met the person/people staying in that tent. It's in my Oakland, CA storage unit, and I can bring it to WCCIF 2008 when I return to Berkeley July 3. I'm currently in Kent, Ohio visiting my parents & sister.

Please check here for updates as I'm updating photos in Ohio. Last update: Tue 6/24/08 2:58 am EDT.

Northern California Dance Collective (NCDC) has an official 2007 photo gallery. I find it easier to view these 94 photos in a Picasa album slide show (Me on the hula-hoop in 2007).

Welcome to my new travel blog.

This is a continuation of my Tribe.net blog. Tribe has been having lots of technical downtime lately. :-( Sorry if the link doesn't work.

I decided to shift my fun pictures to Blogger because it has better features than Tribe.Net. Eventually, I'll probably have to move to WordPress. :-( Been hearing about a lot of Blogger problems on FriendFeed lately. There's a great community of technical experts there who try everything under the sun!

I'm still very new to this blogging stuff, so apologies for the very basic design. I need to spend some time experimenting with typestyles, layouts, and fancier stuff which makes the blog easier to view. Blogger does have quick easy-to-use templates. I like that.
